Podcasting & Streaming Service
This is an easy to use system for processing, managing and delivering audio and video for delivery via podcast subscriptions (RSS) or thorough your own website(s), including embedding flash audio/video.
How it works
The service allows the user to upload content through a website: encoding, hosting and generation of the RSS (Really Simple Synication) feed is handled automatically. Users will receive an email with links to the content once it has been processed, at which point users can embed/link to individual pieces of content themselves or use the RSS Manager to handle subscription feeds.

Available formats
Content can be processed into:
- Audio MP3/MP4: Download, podcast & stream.
- Video H264/MP4: Download, podcast, & stream using embedded Flash and QuickTime. Different resolution and quality settings are available for video.
User options
Users can choose the most appropriate output types by selecting from a choice of 'Workflows' appropriate to their needs. The range of output options for content a user has access to will be selected when the account is set up - a single account can have access to many options.
Managing content feeds (RSS)
Different content can be 'tagged' in the RSS Manager with different keywords after it has been processed. This will enable different subscription (podcast) feeds to be published from a single account with individual items of content appearing in one, several or none of the users feeds.
Getting an account
Please review the charges for use of the service, and think about what level of account and storage capacity you will need. If you are unsure what you will need we are happy to discuss the options and advise you as to what will best suit your needs. In order to set up your account we will need to know:
- Which type of account you want (podcast, standard video or HD video)
- Which workflows you need access to for output formats (all are available but for user's convenience we enable only those that will be needed)
- Whether additional storage will be needed
